- The Thermal Dynamics 21-1501 is a 400-amp automated plasma shield cap designed for high-amperage plasma cutting systems. It is engineered for processes utilizing Nitrogen (N2) as the plasma gas and Water (H2O) as the secondary shield fluid, protecting internal torch components and maintaining cut quality during heavy-duty operations.

- Directs the flow of secondary shield fluid to assist in arc constriction and nozzle cooling
- Reduces the rate of erosion on the nozzle orifice
- Manufactured to tight tolerances to maintain concentricity between the shield orifice and nozzle orifice
- Minimizes bevel angles and ensures square cuts on thick plate materials
- Constructed from heat-resistant materials to withstand radiant heat and molten blowback during heavy plate piercing
- Prevents spatter adhesion to protect internal consumables from double-arcing and gas flow disruption
