• Sureweld 316L electrodes produce a concave bead with smooth ripples and a self-releasing slag. It presents an excellent wetting action and fine ripples, which minimize post weld cleaning. This characteristic is particularly useful in the food and drink industry where a smooth polished surface is required. Higher molybdenum in this product increases the resistance to pitting corrosion caused by corrosive media such as acids, sulphite, and chloride solutions.
