Harris® Nic-L-Weld 99 ENiCI 1/8" Dia Nickel Alloy Maintenance Electrode comes in a 10 lb box and features great machinability as well as close color match. It is perfect for production and repair of cast iron. In most cases, preheating is not necessary, but heavy sections should be preheated to about 400 deg F. It is designed to use AC or DC reverse or straight polarity with a short arc. Bevel breaks and cracks deep enough so the first pass ties in the bottom of the crack. It allows the casting to cool slowly and conforms to AWS A5.15, ENiCI.
