Hobart® Hardalloy® 140 1/8" Dia X 14" Hard Facing Electrode comes in a 10 lb hermetically sealed container renders high abrasion applications incorporated with some impact. Electrode renders a high chromium carbide alloy steel deposit. General-purpose electrode is ideal for overlay on carbon, low alloy or austenitic manganese base metals and weld metal base of Hardalloy® 32, Hardalloy® 118 or ChromeMang. It retains wear resistance to a high temperature up to 1200 deg F and gives some degree of stress relief for the weld metal with some relief check. Electrode provides quiet, stable arc and smooth, ripple-free bead surface with good restrike characteristics for smooth operation. It uses DCEP or AC power for the operation with amperage of 95 - 150 A. It comes with slag removal design that makes cleaning easier and maintains the bead from flattening using lower ends of amperage. It finds applications in ammonia knives, cultivator chisels and sweeps, ripper shanks, subsoiler teeth, bucket teeth and lips, cement chutes, conveyor screws, crusher jaws and cones, crusher rolls, Muller tires, plug mill paddles, sizing screens, dredge cutter heads and teeth, dredge pump inlet nozzle and side plates, pipeline ball joints, manganese pump shells, augers, bulldozer blades ore and coal chutes, paving agitator screws, road rippers, sheepsfoot tampers, coke chutes, coke pusher shoes, grizzly bars and fingers, screw conveyors, coal feeder screws, coal pulverizer hammers and fan blades.
Features
Can also be used where moderate high temperature wear resistance is required
