LINCOLNWELD® 316/316L has a 2-3% molybdenum content which improves pitting corrosion resistance of the weld deposit, while the low carbon content reduces the possibility of carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion.

Designed to be used primarily with basic fluxes that recover nearly all of the wire chromium in the deposit
