Item Details

  • Stoody® Stoodite® 21 135 - 160 A Bare Hard Facing Stick Electrode of 5/32" Dia is made of low carbon, molybdenum strengthened cobalt-chromium alloy. It features resistance to galling, cavitation erosion, corrosion, high temperature strength and stability. It is ideal for welding hot forming dies, turbine runners, valves and seats.

  • Weld DC reverse polarity
  • Use minimum amperage, apply weave bead 3/4" to 1 1/2" wide
  • For check-free deposits, preheat and slow cool
  • In applying bare rod, use gas tungsten arc process with 100% Argon as the shielding gas
