Hougen® 12000-Series Pilot when used with an old style cutters has 2 depth of cut to locate the hole center point, initiate coolant flow to the center of the tool and eject the slug at the end of the cut in a portable magnetic drill. Pilot can be used with 1/2 - 11/16 and 13 - 18 mm cutters. Sharp pilot is recommended for superior results.
