When you need a specific grit size and hardness for engineered applications, this 57A AO Type 01 bench and pedestal wheel is an excellent option. With a vitrified bond that offers excellent wear resistance and holds its shape, this wheel is ideal for deburring and sharpening tool steels with your bench or pedestal grinder. Use the coarse grit to remove light to medium amounts of stock from many other substances, including cast, ductile and gray iron, soft metals, such as aluminum and bronze, 300 and 400 series stainless steels, titanium and super alloys, and both soft and hard carbon steels.
