Norton® 8" Dia X 1" Type 01 Silicon Carbide Wheel with 1 1/4" arbor features a 39C 60 grit abrasive is ideal for general-purpose grinding applications. Wheel with a speed of 3600 RPM is ideal for deburring and sharpening of parts and tools.

Use 39C (green silicon carbide) for cemented carbides, titanium, metal matrix composites and plasma sprayed materials. Use 37C (black silicon carbide) on 300 series stainless steels, irons, nonferrous metals (aluminum, brass, bronze and copper) and non-metallic materials (stone, marble, rubber, ceramics and glass)
