- Norton® 5SG 8" Dia x 3/4" Type 1 Straight Coarse Grade Ceramic Alumina Vitrified Wheel with 1 1/4" hole and 46 grit is a best choice for high productivity and low total per-part grinding cost. Blue wheel made of self-sharpening seeded gel ceramic aluminum oxide abrasive provides sharp edge on tools and dies. It is used for fast stock removal, cool and superior cutting by maintaining less burn/less dressing. Wheel that rotates at a maximum speed of 3105 RPM has I hardness and VS bonding. Wheel that offers firm holding with versatility serves maximum productivity in heat-sensitive and heavy stock removal operations. Wheel featuring high stock removal rates, excellent productivity, long wheel life, low overall grinding cost maintains longer life for tools and dies.
