Norton® 5SG 7" Dia X 1/2" Type 1 Ceramic Alumina Grinding Vitrified Wheel with 46 grit is coarse graded and provides a sharp as well as high-purity grain. Blue straight wheel with 1 1/4" hole is commonly used for precision grinding of steels, hard alloys and exotic materials. It is more durable than natural aluminum-based products. Durable wheel offers high stock removal rates, better productivity, long wheel life and low overall grinding cost. Versatile wheel offers double rough stock removal rate than conventional abrasives. It has sharp edge on tools and dies that offers less dressing and burn. Consistent performing wheel is self-sharpening abrasive that offers cool and superior cutting. Wheel with high performance VS and VSP bonds have 5 times longer life than aluminum oxide wheels.
