Norton® 32A 6" Dia X 1/4" Type 01 Straight Sharp Monocrystalline Aluminum Oxide Vitrified Abrasive Surface Grinding Wheel with 1 1/4" arbor features 60 grit and medium K grade hardness. Purple wheel rotates at a speed of 4140 RPM and is commonly used on ferrous alloys, high-tensile materials as well as wood. Wheel is tough, economical and fracture-resistant, making it best-suited for general purpose deburring and blending. It is suited for grinding all kinds of tool steels with moderate to heavy feeds as well as grinds with an exceptionally cool, fast cutting action that requires a minimum dressing and holds form well.
