Norton® SG 6" Dia X 1/2" Type 01 Straight Ceramic Alumina Vitrified Grinding Wheel with 1 1/4" arbor features 60 grit and medium K grade hardness. Blue wheel rotates at a speed of 4140 RPM and is commonly used on hardened, soft steels as well as aerospace alloys. Wheel is used in precision applications for toolroom, surface, cylindrical and internal grinding on high speed steel tools. Wheel offers sharp edge on tools and dies through its self-sharpening abrasive and features higher stock removal rate than conventional abrasives. It has superior cutting feature that provides a sharp, high-purity grain as well as durability. Wheel has versatile VS, VSP bonds for exceptional form holding and offers maximum productivity in heat-sensitive, heavy stock removal operations.
