Norton® SG 4/3" Dia X 1 1/2" Type 11 Ceramic Alumina Vitrified Wheel with 1 1/4" hole has 1/4" rim, 60 grit and medium graded hardness. Blue wheel with 5730 RPM is ideal for high productivity, low grinding cost in precision grinding for steels, hard alloys and exotic materials. It has high performance, self- sharpening abrasive that is made of seeded gel ceramic aluminum oxide. It includes high performance VS bond for long life and VSP bond for grinding on wide contact area. It provides sharp edge and is durable on tools as well as dies in production. 5SG indicates aluminum oxide and durable Norton® SG blend. Versatile Wheel benefits consistent performance, fast stock removal, cool and high quality cutting, less burn as well as dressing.
