Norton® 220/1000 Grit Fine Grade Gray 8" X 3" X 1" Synthetic Waterstone is used with water as lubricant to develop a fast cutting slurry. Waterstone is softer than oilstones providing lapping action with low pressure. It provides a good abrasiveness and creates sharpening efficiency. It features a system of 4 synthetic "Japanese-type" stones that are designed to work with water for fast sharpening as well as fine finish. It is used for hand tools as well as knives and is sold as 5 per case.
