- The Black Stallion BP-DX Heavy-Duty Insulated Backpad provides extra heat protection for the back of your hand. An Extra 1/2" layer of fiberglass insulation offers enhanced heat protection while an aluminized fiberglass outerlayer deflects radiant heat. It is kept secure with one Aluminized hand strap and another elastic hand strap on the bottom.
