Item Details

  • Harris® 2290 size 5H natural gas/propane heating tip with 1/2" - 25(M) thread connection is compatible with Models 2393 tip tubes, Models B-43-N, E2-43, E3-43, V-W-2, V-W-3 mixers and Models 43-2, V-315C. Tip is used for fabrication and shipbuilding. Multiple arrangements of Model 2290-H heating tips can be assembled using Harris coupling 2327, nipple 2357 and standard 1⁄4" pipe fittings when wider bands of heat are necessary. The capacity of 43-2 heating torch is 5 No. 1-H tips. Use coupling 2543-3 to couple 2393 tip-tubes for extended reach. For extended tube and tip life, use adapter 2357-3.

Caution

  • For maximum flow and BTU output use 3/8" hose
  • On continuous duty, withdrawal manifolding of cylinders may be required
  • When using natural gas, fuel flow rates of Propane or Propylene will double.
  • BTU/cu.ft.: Propane = 2690, Propylene = 2370 - Natural Gas = 1000
