Item Details
- Harris® 6290-VVC Size 3 is a two-piece, propane/natural gas, chrome-plated machine cutting tip. It cuts up to 6 in. thick plate at a cutting speed of 5 in. per minute (I.P.M.) and requires 100 PSIG of cutting oxygen, 30 - 40 PSIG low-high oxygen preheat and 4 oz. - 2 PSIG of preheat fuel. This tip has a 425 SCFH cutting oxygen flow rate, 25 - 40 SCFH low preheat oxygen flow rate, 8 SCFH propane flow rate or 20 SCFH natural gas flow rate for cutting metals. The approximate kerf is .16 in. Best when used with Harris machine cutting torch model 98-6F.

Caution
- Use next size larger tip with same PSIG for contour or intricate cutting
- For thin plate cutting, use a highly carburizing preheat flame
- Cutting oxygen pressures should be measured at torch entry
- When using two hose machine torches, set oxygen pressure at cutting oxygen PSIG listed
