Broco® Leather Shield has smooth finished side of the shield face is away from the torch, slide the leather shield onto the collet nut. Leather shield is ideal for removing the collet nut from the torch. It is also used to screw the collet nut back onto the torch and by positioning the leather shield the long end covers the oxygen control lever. It is mainly designed to protect you from spark and splatter burns.
